"Who is that?" I have heard many times. The Private Peeks home icon model's
name is Kelly. She is not shy one bit and has worked for many years as a
nude model. Although she now teaches English, she remembers her years as a
figure model with fondness. "I posed privately for artists and students
all along the Eastern Coast for about 15 years. I was well paid and never
had to worry where my next meal was coming from. Everyone whom I posed for
was friendly and I never had any trouble. One particular fellow I'll never
forget. He was very well mannered and we had a wonderful lunch at Hunter
House Hamburgers in Birmingham Michigan. I found him very charming and he
kind of looked like Elvis which didn't hurt. I guess I couldn't have ever
forgotten him easily since I ended up marrying him." she said with a laugh.
Here she is shown from a 1984 session where it was decided to use a
completely black backdrop to augment skin color and negate any background
distractions. The experiment turned out very well. She is a fan 1940s and
1950s pinup artists such as Eribit and Elvgren and has an extensive
collection of their work. One side note. Two different make-up schemes were
used to experiment on how much a models appearance can modified. ;)
